At SheJobs, we are dedicated to empowering women and underrepresented minorities to excel in technology and professional careers. Founded by Swathi Nelabhatla, SheJobs was born from a passion for creating equal opportunities, breaking down barriers, and inspiring positive change in the workforce.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide women with the resources, skills, and support they need to succeed in their careers. We believe that everyone deserves a platform to grow and showcase their talents. Through skill-building programs, mentorship, networking opportunities, and inspiring events, we equip our members with the tools they need to navigate the challenges of today's workforce confidently.

What We Do Skill Development & Training: We offer accessible, high-quality training programs on in-demand skills like PEGA and Agile Scrum, often at no cost. These programs are tailored to help women and minorities enhance their professional skills and secure meaningful roles in the tech industry.

Community & Networking: At SheJobs, we believe in the power of community. Through events like "Against All Odds" and WEDAY, we bring together professionals and leaders to share insights, provide mentorship, and inspire each other. Our community is a place for support, connection, and collaboration.

Empowerment Events: We regularly host events and conferences where industry leaders, like Vidya Kanagala of Morgan Stanley and Vani Peddineni of Toyota, share their journeys and insights. These events provide real-world advice and inspiration for women navigating their career paths.

Our existence

After a detailed gap analysis of the job market, we decided that an ecosystem of dedicated recruitment partners like us could achieve the desired gender equality.


Our story originates from the graph showing a declining trend from 2005 (which has taken a drastic decline after the 2020 pandemic). After a successful run in the US labor market, SheJobs decided to set its strong foot in the Indian job market to provide equal employment opportunities for women.


Gender equality is a way that leads to capturing the skills, ideas & perspectives that any gender has to offer. In addition, nowadays, people want to work with companies that prioritize equality. Consequently, we designed the features and services of SheJobs centered on women. Our team understands that there are several right places to work, and there are several women candidates who can fill in, on par with the required skill levels. In accordance, today, our portal is a growing phenomenon to aid the recruitment process in several companies, linking their value chain with the candidate pool we provide.

Women from all walks of life get into the SheJobs system. The following are the most common ones whom we cater to:


  • Ambitious women who are currently employed and believe that they can achieve more.
  • Girls who have finished their academics and are looking for an internship and fresher roles.
  • Women who went on a sabbatical after a previous stint in their career and are now aiming a return to the mainstream jobs again.
  • Work-from-home (WFH) in full-time and part-time or other flexible models like annualized hours.
  • Differently-abled individuals (whom the world wrongly calls candidates with disabilities) with special needs.
  • The silent women warriors! Be it single moms, veteran women with old school knowledge, domestic abuse victims, or anyone who made up their minds to start their lives with a job.
  • Anyone who is marked as a minority and is subjected to stereotypes, such as transgender people.

Our employers' job requirements drive the pools of matches we provide, and we are industry agnostic. Likewise, we negotiate with the candidates to suit your new-age needs ("partly on-prem, partly work-from-home," short term gigs, etc.) to get you productive.
